A delicate thin ink-line Lisbon style decoration envelops the middle ages etching of Jerusalem and a medallion of loving doves. The decoration follows the tradition of the Judaica workshop of 15th century Lisbon.
The calligraphic border brings the famous verse "if I forget thee, O Jerusalem ", Psalms 137:3, and the heart felt vow of Hosea 2:21-22, "I thee wed".
